This was my very first village hall wedding and WOW what a wedding!

Hattie & Rob got married in the Lake District, with their wedding being held in the beautiful village of Caldbeck. I absolutely love churches and St Kentigern was a stunner – both inside and out – with so many photo opportunities, it’s a photographers dream! The surrounding area of Caldbeck is so picturesque as well and even after the morning rain and blustery winds, Hattie and Rob were totally up for exploring the expanding hillside all in the name of awesome wedding photography!

And after our little adventure exploring the countryside, we headed to the Village Hall, which was unrecognisable and had been transformed into the most beautiful wedding venue! The décor was elegant vintage and as Hattie is a wine merchant, a little nod to the good old grape was included. The tables were made up of wooden wine crates brimming with gypsophila, handmade place card holders using wine corks, as well as a selection of red and white wine, not forgetting the vintage soft drinks of course. It all looked amazing and I was totally blown away with how fabulous the Village Hall looked!

After the wedding breakfast, garden games where played, along with a space hopper race or two and the evenings entertainment was a good old Ceilidh band that had everyone up and on their feet dancing!

If I had to sum up Hattie and Rob’s Village Hall wedding in just a few words it would be fun, creative, colourful and super relaxed!
