A beautifully natural photo shoot on the sands at Formby, Jess and Tom celebrate their engagement.

It’s Jess & Tom on the Blog!! Oooo, I cannot tell you how excited I am to share this lovely engagement photo shoot with you!

I meet with these two lovelies on a not-so-cold sunny winters morning in February for their engagement photo shoot. They chose Formby Beach in Liverpool as the location and it was the perfect spot, with its glorious sandy beaches, pine woodlands and sand dunes.

We spent the morning together and headed off to make the most of our surroundings - along with the great weather we were so lucky to have – climbed several sand dunes, walked in the woods and ran along the beach. It was a wonderful day and I can honestly say I had a great time! Jess and Tom were absolute naturals in front of my camera and it was lovely to see them together and capture their love and the connection they share. As a wedding photographer I have to say that other than the wedding day the engagement photo shoots are one of my favourite parts on the run up to any wedding and I always love meeting with every couple. It’s the perfect opportunity to get to know one-another even better and it really does help the nerves when it comes to your wedding day.
