Planning Your Winter Wedding? Let Our Rustic Wedding Styled Shoot Inspire You

Inspiration for your Rustic Winter Wedding. A gorgeous styled shoot at The Wellbeing Farm in Bolton, Lancashire.

So you've booked you're winter wedding, the date is fast approaching and you need a little bit of inspiration to get you on your way, well we have all you need right here.

Our styled shoot was held at The Wellbeing Farm, a beautiful quirky wedding venue in Bolton, Lancashire. We knew the Farm would be the perfect setting for our shoot, with its spectacular views of the North West, quirky decor and rustic feel inside the barn. To complement the settings, we choose a rich berry palette for its warmth and luxury feel, touches of green foliage, slate grey and ivory were added throughout, along with splashes of muted gold and dark wood, enhancing the rustic luxe feel.

Our Bride, Samantha wore an elegant ivory net and lace bridal gown from Areles Bridal complete with a high neck sheer illusion and lace halter from the Ti Adora collection by Alvian Valenta. The beautiful fabrics, lace combinations and luxe embroideries create the perfect blend for a soft, vintage romance feel - perfect for today's bohemian bride.

"Berry lips, together with smoky eyes and shades of burgundy and marsala create a striking and stylish finish"

- Leanne Jackson Makeup

Make up was chosen to complement the rich berry shades and muted gold palette. Whilst the hair designs created by Sam Gately & Co worked perfectly for both the bride and bridesmaids - the brides romantic mermaid braid with natural curls is bang on trend for this years bride!

For the flowers, Voila Florist created wild hand-tied bouquets of Avalanche and Red Ivanhoe roses, cosmos black beauty, ivory pearl button wax flower and eucalyptus. The bouquets were then wrapped and finished in luxurious streams of silk ribbon lovingly hand-dyed by Pompom Blossom and added a splash of colour against the subtle tones of the bridal party.

The styling combined various organic details with pops of gold and jewel-tone accents. A rustic oak easel was used to display the table plan designed by Print for Love along with our stylish letterpress invitations. Lou Lou Meringues created our vanilla macaron tower which was then decorated with berries and blooms and placed against a backdrop of gilded cranberry paper pom peonies. Mulberry macarons dusted with edible gold and bell jars crammed with twinkling lights all helped to bring together the main elements for our winter wedding inspirational shoot, creating a wild rich palette, understated elegance and rustic luxe!
